We specialise in the design and construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls, delivering structurally sound and long-lasting solutions built to engineering specification. Our retaining walls are typically constructed to a structural engineer’s design, incorporating significant mesh reinforcement and precision-tied steelwork, including starter bars, L-bars, and bent bars to form a robust framework.
The process begins with the excavation and pouring of the reinforced concrete footing, which provides a stable base for the wall. Once the foundation is complete, we assemble formwork or shuttering panels to match the required wall dimensions. The cavity is then filled with high-strength concrete, typically placed using a pump to ensure full compaction and a clean finish.
After curing, the formwork is stripped to reveal the completed concrete retaining wall. Depending on the project’s requirements, we can also apply waterproofing or tanking systems to protect against groundwater ingress and install effective drainage behind the wall to manage water pressure. The area is then backfilled and reinstated to achieve a seamless finish.
In addition to reinforced concrete walls, we also construct other retaining systems including MacWall solutions, gabion baskets, and modular interlocking systems such as Lego blocks. Each option is selected and delivered to meet the specific engineering and aesthetic needs of the site.

High Care Groundworks
This is groundworks in ‘high care’ areas, so food/beverage sector & pharmaceutical sector. Working within live factories/production lines. Dust free/zero emissions are key in these works and often mandatory. Scope of works are typically for drainage alterations. We will typically install new stainless-steel gulleys/aco channels and connect into their existing on-site drainage systems. This will involve cutting/breaking out the concrete floor and removing spoil. We provide electric plant machinery for this (excavator & dumper). Installing the new drainage and reinstating the concrete. We also do reinforced slabs for weighing scales and cold/freezer storerooms. We would like to push that we can also do the hygienic resin flooring reinstatement. Another crucial element for customer requirements.
